Hennrietta
We do not have any more information about her.

Lorenz Friedrich Goetze
Lorenz was probably born in Germany
.

Hennrietta married Lorenz Friedrich Goetze. The family's son Jacob was born in 1853 in Saxony, Germany. The family probably had their home there. Their son Jacob emigrated to America and died in 1908 in Minnesota.

When Lorentz Friedrich's son Jacob Goetze emigrated to America a large wooden chest from the Goetze family in Germany was brought with. See pictures of the chest at the bottom of this page. On the chest is painted "L F Goetze" – a shortcut of his father's name Lorenz Friedrich Goetze. It is probably painted on the chest after arrival in the States since the Goetze name is written with "oe" on the chest and not the German letter "ö". Two more letters are still visible on the chest: "I E" or "J E". We do not know the meaning of these two letters. The chest is still owned by a descendant of Lorenz (per 2014).

Hennrietta and Lorenz Goetze had six children as we know of:

1) Ernst Friedrich (b. May 6, 1839, d. August 24, 1911, buried August 26, 1911).
Ernst married Elizabetha (b. January 12, 1845, d. October 7, 1921. Elizabetha was probably buried on October 16).

2) Edward Goetze

3) Jacob Goetze (b. July 25, 1853 in Saxony, Germany, d. August 30, 1908 in Carver County, Minnesota).
On January 21, 1879 Jacob married Anna Emma Urbach.
