November 12, 1933 in Norwood, Carver County, Minnesota. Emma Urbachs parents were Elizabeth and Gottlieb Urbach.

Jacob Goetze
Jacob was born July 25, 1853 in Saxony, Germany. He died August 30, 1908 in Young America, Carver County, Minnesota, United States.
Jacob Goetze was buried September 2, 1908 in Young America, Carver County, MN. Jacob's parents were Hennrietta and Lorenz Friedrich Goetze, Germany.

Emma married Jacob on January 21, 1879. They became tavern owners in Young America or Northwood, Minnesota. That was still in the horse and buggy age. Emma Urbach was buried November 14, 1933 in Young America, Carver County, Minnesota.

When Jacob Goetze emigrated to America a large wooden chest from the Goetze family in Germany was brought with. On the chest is painted "L F Goetze". (Lorenz Friedrich Goetze was Jacob Goetze's father.) Two more letters are still visible: "I E" or "J E". We do not know the meaning of these two letters. The chest is still owned by a descendant of Lorenz (per 2014).
